Outside the Office
Before the keynotes and the CALM Method™, there was just Liz a person sitting across from people who were exhausted in a way that sleep wasn't fixing, trying to figure out why so many capable, caring people were stuck in survive mode.
She still asks that question every day. And she still doesn't have a tidy answer but what she does know is that good people get so much done, in their families, their work, and their communities.
Liz Burgin helps individuals and organizations move from reactive to regulated, from burnout to intentional culture. She brings a graduate-level background in people, relationships, and systems and the lived reality of being a mom of three kids under six, a wife, a neighbor, a community member, and someone who is right there alongside everyone else, figuring out how to thrive and not just survive the life she's building.
The CALM Method™ her framework for intentional leadership was built from everything she's learned in therapy rooms, workplaces, and her own living room at the end of a long day. It's practical, honest, and grounded in the belief that calm isn't a personality type. It's a practice.
When she's not working, Liz is drinking good coffee, watching reality TV and documentaries in roughly equal measure, and investing in the people and places that matter most to her. She's doing the work. Most days, she'd say she's getting there.
